23 and newly positive
      06/24/04 12:33 AM

Hello everyone,
I'm 23 and was just diagnosed HIV+ a couple weeks ago. My last test was in November, and I tested negative then, so I've been infected within the past year. I'm going in Friday for all my preliminary CD4 and viral load tests. Based on my length of infection, does anyone have an idea how far my HIV might have progressed? Also, with all the medications available these days, how long of a timeline might I be looking at before conversion to AIDS? I'm sure these questions will be answered Friday at my appointment, but I'm a bit anxious to find out something. Thanks!
