Please bear with us as we deal with continual harrassment by one member of an "AIDS denialist" group.
Every evening he fills up the board with blank messages or excerpts from articles that have been refuted long ago -- including false announcements that HIV does not cause AIDS, HIV is not sexually transmitted, condoms are dangerous, or women or heterosexuals don't get HIV. There is absolutely NO evidence for any of the things he posts. Most of the clips he finds are out of context or old articles or from people whose opinions garner no respect in the scientific community.
It's unfortunate that this guy is inconsiderate of the needs and desires of all of you who use these boards.
This board is open! Please feel free to continue posting. Unfortunately, in the meanwhile, you'll have to ignore the astonishingly repetitive postings by this hooligan. It's best NOT to respond, as he is clearly only seeking attention. The "group" this person represents gets no press attention, and nobody in the community of those affected by HIV bothers to pay any attention to them, so their few members are left with little else to do but spam boards like this. Clearly their tactics attract no other supporters.
Again, if you see these posts, please ignore them; our system has been set up to delete the posts, as well as any responses to them.

Although you'll see mention of supposed scientists--not one of the people who is mentioned on their site actually treats people infected with HIV. Not one is a nurse. Not one is someone who works at an AIDS organization. They have theoretical disputes with the current understanding of HIV--but they, in fact, offer no opinion regarding treatment. What we know from research is that HIV is a dangerous virus and it can be transmitted through unprotected sex. Unprotected sex is also a risk for other sexually transmitted diseases such as herpes, gonorrhea, syphillis, hpv etc. For more on these diseases, read the following:
