Sore Throat and Mouth Sores the Recur
      08/29/02 04:57 PM

Hello would anybody have some insight for me, I had an exposure to HIV 9 months ago. Tested negative to HIV 1/2. The exposure came from a women from sex worker from korea, since then I just haven't felt right. Lots of strange symptoms. So I test for HIV once a month up until 9 months and had a RNA-PCR test done at 3 months. Also at three months I got tested for all other STD's Negative. Should I move on from this, have i been infected with a rare subtype, I have been very stressed, would stress cause me not to make antibodies. I had a WBC count at 4 months post exposure and my wbc were 4.2 which i believe is low. I can't seem to get a specialist where I live to help me. Please Advise. I rarely got sick before this experience, now I feel like my immune system is tumbling

Thanks Brian
