I have had the same problem with my tounge now for 4 months. I think it is just geographic tongue and hairy tongue, at least thats what my dentist says and what most of the info on the net seems to indicate. I was obsessed thinking it was thrush because my tongue hurts. Sometime it hurts all day and sometimes just for a few hours and sometimes not at all. I have tested negative 5 times starting at 2 months after possible exposure and the last was at 6.25 months afterward. Yes my tongue is coated white all the time, but when I use a tongue scraper, it just looks like long hairy pupillae. It all started at exactly 4 months after exposure. If anybody else has this problem and has fiqured out what it really is an indication of, please let me know (post your answer). I don't want to HIV test anymore. It causes a lot of stress and my last ELISA was at 6.25 months.
