I've travelled internationally quite a bit since finding out that I have HIV. While mostly correct, the first reply was incomplete. When travelling internationally with meds, you should ALWAYS (regardless of the country):
-- Carry your meds in the original bottles.
-- Carry paper prescriptions for all your meds
That way, if you do get questioned at customs (although I never have), you can prove that you're legitimately carrying the meds for your personal use.
Additionally, if you're going anywhere that's at all questionable in terms of water or food safety, you should carry a bottle of Cipro, or another broad-spectrum antibiotic. If you do get infected with something, you want to nip it in the bud, before it gets serious. Be sure to complete the cycle of antibiotics, even if you start to feel better.
Hope this helps.
