Lokking for info on transmission
      #1184 - 03/31/00 10:50 AM

I'm HIV poitive and my partner is not. I'm looking for any information that has statistics on the percent chance my partner has on staying negative, year after year. If there is some study out there that examines the risk, I would like to know about it.

Thanks, Jamie

Hi Jamie, I suppose you are in the same situation as me and my husband. He was diagnosed HIv pos 4 yrs ago, (probably got it 12 yrs plus)
In all that time i have been with him rigt from day one so to speak. before we knew about his diagnosis, we didnt use precautions and have even had children. but for some strange reason i am still HIV NEGATIVE. no one can give me any insight into how or why. they just say they don't really know.
who knows maybe i will never get it??? we do be careful but should one break i have given up on panicking now.
good luck for the future..
