The HIV Disclosure Study
      #276502 - 06/04/14 06:47 AM

Hi Everyone,

Iím seeking gay and bisexual men who are living with HIV to take part in a major new study of disclosure.

Iím a psychology researcher, but Iím also gay and living with HIV myself, so I know how important this area is for many people. I've had lots of input from other men living with HIV both during the study design, and during the pilot phase. I've taken great care to ensure the confidentiality of participants, and to ensure that appropriate support services are in place for those who might be affected by participation. The study can be found online at:

thehivdisclosurestudy.com

It takes about 30 minutes to complete the online questionnaire. Participation can be completely anonymous for those who prefer it that way.

Iíd be happy to answer any questions about the study, and would be ENORMOUSY grateful for any support!

Many thanks in advance,

Patrick Murphy

Thanks for that useful information! There are many different diseases that kills people worldwide. Have you heard about the Gamers playing a protein-folding game called Foldit? It have helped unlock the structure of an AIDS-related enzyme. Since 1996, treating HIV and AIDS has not changed much. The same drugs on fundamentally the same routines are prescribed. One of the greatest problems for researchers has been untangling how the enzymes of the virus function and work together. Researchers studying the HIV-like disease eventually decided to ask users of a computer game for help. Just three weeks later, the query has been answered.
