Worried guy

Hi to all. I my exposure though brief was still an exposure. I had intercourse with a woman of unknown status in February of this year. I read that the odds of a one off fling to be 1-500 with an infected person. My problem is that since exposure I can't help but think that I may have infected. I've had some unusual bowel movements just recently and a bit of diarreah a few months ago. My eyes are giving me trouble as well. I can't seem to focus long on anything and I feel as though my head is spinning. I want to do the test but am so scared to go to a hospital or even a pharmacy to try the home test kit. Can someone give me some advice and help me thru this. I know I should not go alone on symtoms and that the test is the only positive method. I would like to speak to someone privately on the phone or via email. I see Jackieblue seems to be the person everyone wants to talk to. Will you please consider talking to me in private?

Thanks to all.

Worried guy

You are not alone in this and you will get through it.

Ask yourself, "is the anxiety and concern of not knowing your status, worth not taking the test? Believe me, no matter how your results turn out it's better to know.

I can tell you that after the initial infection a person can remain 'symptomless' for many, many years. I highly doubt any of your symptoms are connected with HIV.

If you want to talk privately, you can sign in here and use the private mail system. You can then send me a private message through this website.
