Is it really possible to live 40-60 years after exposure? What are the realistic chances???

Why are you asking this in this forum? For someone that is a worried well you certainly have a a deeper understanding of HIV than most. Your questions are on another level, wouldn't you say Akamai?

Your tomorrows will be whatever you make them. I know of many Hiv on meds that are doing so well that I wouldn't be surprized that they'll be around for a good 30 to 40 years being pos, unless they get struck by lightening or any other " normal " fatality. I could easily of been pos for 5 years before diagnosis and then it's been going on 20 with being diagnosed. Same with hubby and he's not even on meds.
