hair loss?

In the last year I have lost alot of my hair, has anyone else experience this as a problem or is it from something other than HIV?

Yes, l have had a similar experience of hair thinning, l read somewhere it is apart of the virus. Very freaky at first. It said to keep your hair shorter.

I have lost about half of it and it is getting thinner so I ask my Dr. he is running test on my thyroid (for other symptoms also), he said it usually wasnt part of the virus, but I also had read a few places that it is... I am on no meds. so that is not it.

I HAVE AND I DONT KNOW IF FROM MEDS OR STESS BUT I STARTED TO TAKE A VITAMIN FOR HAIR CALLED BIOTIN ITS REALLLLLYYYY HELPING HAIR IS COMING BACK THICK AGAIN TRY IT AN GIVE IT A GOOD MONTH OR TWO GOOD LUCK OOOOOOXXXXXXX

My hair thinned and I am sure that it was due to worry. For 2 years I was on my own and worried my self sick about every thing. It has recently started to become thicker on it's own. I rarely worry these days, my husband doesn't let me!
