HIV positive woman looking for connections
      #64449 - 04/29/03 09:33 AM

Hi! I am a 28 year old female doctor with HIV. I got the
infection through a needle stick injury. I was diagnosed in 96 when I offered a blood transfusion to a friend's father. I have been through hell, mainly because my profession put me in constant contact with hiv positive
patients each time forcing me to relive my story.
Seven years down the line, I have changed careers and am absolutely normal with no symptoms. I am not on any medication. HIV has taken away a lot from me, but has also given me so much in the form of unconditional love from family and friends. My main priority now is to
find a life partner and possibly to have a child. (Not that different from the average 29 year old female, is it?)
I would like to chat with other hiv positive heterosexual people and also with anyone who has contracted the infection via an infected needle like me.
My email is zoyakhan_1 at hotmail.com
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi!
I am 30 year old female, I won't have any idea how I got infected since I have had several transfusions while growing up due to several tropical fevers,My baby's father is negative and so is my baby.I was diagonised positive in 2001 and I was quite shocked. But now life is almost normal and I am just happy to have discovered that when I did.
At the moment I am single and faced with only one problem, how do I tell my next partner that I am positive? I can't start a real relationship before making him aware of the fact, because I believe if it was me,I would have wanted to know. If you are interested you can contact me with my adress, jemmyanderson@hotmail.com

I am a 27 year old female. I found out I was HIV+ last august. At that time I had a 1 year old son. I found out that my boyfriend (father of my son) was negative and so was my son. My boyfriend and I stayed together and I am now pregnant again. I am under the care of HIV specialist obgyn to do everything possible to make sure my new baby is ok too. My boyfriend has been very mentally abusive over the past year and a half. I think i have just been scared to leave him thinking if i did I would never find anyone else who would want me. But now being pregnant again I know that I can no longer take the emotional abuse and stress that he is causing me daily. I am hoping to meet others out there in similar situations or any other single people just looking to meet someone new. you can email me at astacyi@hotmail.com.

Hi There,

I just saw your note in women with HIV, and I think you have the right way of thinking by telling your next partner. I know it is not an easy thing to do but you have to. I am a single man, 35 years old who found out I am poz 6 years ago in Middle East. Since then my biggest dream to find a woman to share my life, I did not really looked for one but just kept dreaming, and today I thought I need to do some search on the net as I have a lot of love needs to go out. I am a very caring person.

My story with HIV no one can even believe how it happened? Even me! But after I moved to the States and got my immigrant papers work out my life has changed a lot.

I never had any problems at all with HIV and I am extremely healthy. My doctor says I respond to the meds amazingly, and took off 2 of them and now I take 2 meds 3 pills a day.

I totally know how you feel since I feel the same since May 1997.

Where do you live?

I live In Wisconsin.

If you are interested reply to me and let’s go from there?

Take care and best luck in your life,

Ammar

Hi. I'm a first year medical student from melbourne, australia. i wanted to know to what extent you believe it is correct for doctors to be forced out of their healthcare profession based on their HIV positive status?
Thanks for posting your message up. It is important for people to know that HIV and Aids are real, and not just something that happens to homosexuals and drug addicts
