I know the with breast milk HIV/AIDS it is transfer from mother to child, by breast feeding, I am in childcare and I was wondering if a mother brings in a bottle of her breast milk and I feed it to the baby and the milk gets on a cut of mine or the baby throws up on me can I get HIV/AIDS? Thank You for your time to answer, Preschool Teacher

No. Breast milk is only dangerous to the baby...and it seems only long term...(and clearly only from drinking it every 3 hours for months...)
There have been NO documented cases of getting HIV from exposure from breast milk in the way you describe.

The only way HIV is known to be transmitted through breast milk is during the breast feeding of an infant. Call the National AIDS Hotline: 800-342-2437 (24 hours a day, daily) and talk to someone there so feel better. But there is no risk.
