Cures For AIDS?

Hello. I was just curious, what are the odds of finding a cure for HIV/AIDS? If there is a chance, how far off are they from finding a cure? I read on a website of a medicine producing company that they doubt a cure will ever be found because the disease attacks the nervous system. Could this be true???

So far no cure. Although lots of impressive treatments (especially compare to cancer). It's a virus and so it's hard to find a cure...like herpes it's for life and there is no cure. But there are plenty people working on this.

There's still no cure for cancer...I think we'll have to wait for a cure for AIDS...

Not a syndrome, a deadly disease that is real and there could be a cure at any time.

You never know...every AIDS conference we hope for a cure! But right now just some medications that are imperfect but have saved millions of lives

EVEN THOUGH THERE MIGHT BE A CURE WE DO'T KNOW OF. SCIENTIST ARE STILL WORKING REALLY HARD TO FIND A CURE FOR THIS DEADLY DISEAS. FIRST, SCIENTIST THOUGH THAT ZINC WOULD BE THE CURE BUT A STUDY WAS MADE AND THEY FOUND OUT THAT ZINC COULDN'T EVEN CURE A COMMON COLD.

I am doing a report on aids for school is there really any cure for aids? How are we going to stop it in the future so there is not so many people with it and we dont have to worry about getting it from helping someone that is bleeding or from a friend? What can prevent you from getting it?
