Hello,

My name is Hope and I live in TN with my partner Ann in an ethnically diverse neighborhood. I am an HIV/STD Prevention Educator and Ann is an RN. We do not have children yet.

We were very happy to find this site. I am not sure that this is the right place to post but I'll go ahead because networking never hurts : ). We are interested in adopting a baby or young child affected by HIV/AIDS. We would be happy to continue visits and contact with the birthmother, I think that would be very important. We should have our homestudy completed at the end of August.

Please email me if you have any information on matching us with a baby or child or can re-direct me. Thank you!

get in touch with your nearest foster agency. or go to any hospital. their are alway children there who have been abandoned. times have changed, lifestyles are not as important as finding homes for these children. as far as contact with the birth mother, that will depend on the situation. be careful, once you fall in love with that child
it will be hard if she tries to get them back.
