with all the advancements ....how is it that some people are still getting "AIDS vs. maintaining HIV status... and how are people that "are" receiving adequate health care still managing to die 4m "AIDS RELATED COMPLICATIONS??" ... besides ...people falling victim to side effects/ or poorly managing their meds/ lifestyle??
or are these people "not" getting "AIDS" and?or not dying??

A person is given an AIDS diagnosis depending on their CD4 count numbers. I have an AIDS diagnosis my CD4 was under 200 when I was diagnosed. I have never been sick due to HIV yet, but the diagnosis is all on your blood work numbers.
Some people go off their meds, some can't afford them, some find out they have it too late. It just depends on the case. You can't say all of them THIS or all of them THAT. People's dying or living is on a case by case basis.
