Herpes? Do I have AIDS?

hi
I have been HIV+ since 2003. Was tested for major STDs when diagnosed and tests were negative but I think the herpes test must have been wrong coz I have the symptoms. A sore (like little blisters) appeared on the inside of my thigh and was really painful, it is now a open sore but slowly healing. I am really afraid of what this means. I have been abstinent since my diagnosis and have been suffering from depression for almost 1 yr. I have two uncles who died quickly from the disease so I wonder if I am already genetically doomed. My last bloods (April 2006) were good, virus count of 10 000 and normal Cd4 count but I am scared to go for my next check-up since herpes outbreak is a sign of a weakened system. Turning 30 this year and trying to positive about life, but very hard. Your responses and advice are welcome.
