Razor burn OR herpes?

Ok girls, I need some advice because I am a major WW. My guy friend and myself engaged in intercourse. We were both tested prior for Hiv..negative. Anyways, I shaved down there the day of the encounter..now I have red little bumps on both sides. They hurt the first day and now they itch and are about gone, 3 days later. He and I talked about Std's and testing ect...We use condoms, although one broke prior to ejaculation. Should I assume it is razor burn?? Doesn't herpes really hurt and is accompanied with fever? I am a wreck. I want to have a blood test, but I am told I need to wait. Has anyone else had this happen? Also it was not near my vaginal opening at all, just on the inner sides of my thigh area next to the opening. UG!

I think it sounds like razor burn to me. I had that happen to me one time too. If they are nearly gone it does sound like irritation from the razor.

Herpes is NOT razor burn - Herpes is papule like Chancoar looking soars. Dont worry that you have herpes. My herpes was one little soar which seemed to me like a raised chancoar sore. It was to small to tell. When something is really off down there you will know ...

Sounds like razor burn to me.
I shave down there all the time (I HATE body hair with a passion)
little red bumps..all about the same size...hurt, itch, and go away...yup, its razor burn.
Also herpes tends to take a LITTLE longer to appear than a day.
Herpes (severe) hurts, burns, itches, causes swelling, oozes, crusts over, and THEN goes away.
Trust me, totally different.
Also herpes sores arent little red bumps...they're more like a larger bump that someone cut the top of (like a little volcano)
I get razor burn all the time
(damn cheap razors, crappy shaving stuff, or hurried job)
To help with razor burn in the future: use a sharp razor, only shave in ONE direction (trust me on this one), and moisture during (conditioner works if you dont have anything else) and after (lotion).

ok i have a question....did ur bumps on the inside of your leg, did some form like a line(not necessarily straight lines), because i shaved the day of sex wit my bf, and the following day, the bumps are there, but some creat a curved line...and im like freaking out really bad!!! cuz neither of us have stds and i have never cheated...and he has nothing so he is good!! please help!
