Well I can't give you my perspective from an early 20's standpoint. BUT...HIV+ women can have HIV- babies.
First things first. Give yourself time to get used to being positive before making a major committment to having a second child.
Talk to your doctor about it. You will need to monitored closely during pregnancy. Your doctor may be able to recommend an OB that works with HIV+ mothers.
Good Luck.

I'm 24 and hiv+ i plan on having babies at some point, there are options open to us, we can still have babies, your best bet is to get over the shock and then speak to your doctor. It's not really something that you want half answers about. It does get easier x

I wanted to uplift your spirits a bit darlin'.... I am 28 now, but was diagnosed at 20, just 49 days after laeving teenage-land. I already had one son (age 1 at the time, 10 now) but after coming to terms with my own diagnosis, I did decide to have another child. I am happy to say that I have a HIV- beautiful healthy daughter, and not a regret in the world. With the right meds and medical advisements, IT IS POSSIBLE. OUR LIVES ARE PROOF. Life has not ended, it has only begun...and it only gets better. Smile.
