I had oral sex with another woman, and I'm wondering how risky this is? I've read, it is risky, and then I've read it isn't. So which is it? Regardless if I ever do that again it will be with protection I don't care. I just want to know if anyone on here has ever been infected by another woman, oral sex being the ONLY risk factor involved. If anyone has been, then I really question the CDC.

Unfortunately it is possible. It's not as common as getting HIV from vaginal or anal intercourse, but it is possible. If you're really concerned, wait three months and take the antibody test. Do you know if the woman was HIV+?
Good luck, hope all is negative.

There are a few documented cases in the US but only a few. In any case, it is unlikely to get infected from only one exposure. You were exposed to vaginal fluids? No blood? Blood is more dangerous.

YES!!!!!!! It is possible to get HIV from another woman. I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE! I am a lesbian that is HIV+. Next time use a dental dam or plastic wrap when going down on a woman and use gloves when touching. You do not know for sure if she is negative or is bleeding. She could have just brushed her teeth or have a cut/sore in her mouth or vagina. PLAY SAFE! rose(PozLez): rose_b1835@hotmail.com
