HIV and pregnancy

Hello. I'm a case manager working with a young woman who was diagnosised positive 2 years ago; she's now 19 y.o. and is interested in having a baby within the next two years. She's asked me if there's any info out there about pregnancy and HIV because she feels her doctor is not supportive of this. Since she hasn't asked, it's not clear if it's her age or her HIV status. Anyway, we need help----Is there anyone out there that would be willing to talk about their pregnancy and HIV/AIDS? If you're out there, you can leave a reply here or you can e-mail me at susin777@aol.com with any info you think might be helpful to her.

Call World--a women's organization in Oakland-- they have many HIV positive women who have had children 1-510-986-0341. Also call Women Alive in LA 1.800.554.4876. Good luck!
