My name is Nyarayi and i am a woman Living with HIV in kenya
since 1991. I have a son who is turning 7 on 16 August this year
I am also having my birht day on the 6th of June I'll be turning
29 years. Send birthday wishes please.I am the coodonator for
Positive Women Group(PWG) which is an Organization for women with
hiv in Nairobi. I am also the founder member of the International
Community of Women living with HIV(ICW).When Iwas diagonized with
HIV my son was 8monmths old and i was breastfeeding. I continuied
breast feeding although I knew i was HIV+. I stopped
breastfeeding when my son was 1year 2 months and he was tested
and he was found out to be negative . I went again when he was
three years and up to now he is negative intelligent kid with
straight As in school. I would have loved to see my child grow
but i doubt if it's going to be possible. My son is the only
speciall thing for me in the world. I wish these Antiviral drugs
are available here. I would be very happy if any well wisher can
donate our grouop with Antiviral drugs and vitamin Tabets and
medication for opputunistic infectios. We have never gone for CD4
count .We dont know whether we have arrived at the AIDS stage.
Treatments is expensive and nobody has a job in our group. I
would also to have a penfriend who is a woman with HIV and have
children. Iwant to know how they are coping with HIV.My address

but it keeps coming back so I do not know if you still interested
in the information that you asked for but if you are please

The situation in Africa is very sad and I was very moved by your
story. I am Canadian and was infected with HIV while travelling
in Kenya in 1987. I feel very priveledged that I am in Canada
with access to good health care, medication and all sorts of
support. We in the developed world must not take this for granted
and we must find ways to support people with AIDS in Africa and
the third world. I hope you and your son are well. My prayers are
with you.

Hi Nyarayi,
I would like to help you in your search for medical care.I don't know
how well this will work for you because I only have very few pills.If
you take them & stop taking them ,it could be worse for you.they are
pills that I no longer take.Please ask a doctor or someone about it
first & let me know.I am writing for you the name of the pills.
