Are you resistant to anything? Have you ever had a resistance test?
Why not get a second opinion? See another HIV specialist? Bring all your records.

as far as a know there is no resistance.. im just feeling like im in limbo.. like im stuck.. i know that i should feel greatful about the progress that ive made but i still feel like im waiting for the other shoe to fall.. do you know what i mean.. i have a good doc.. and he gives me alot of control over my treatment.. i just never want to feel the way that i felt when i had pcp.. if there is anything that i can do to get my count over 200 i would do it.. thanks alot for the reply.. i live in a tiny town in nebraska of all places and have no one to bounce ideas off of..

Hey Liz, I've struggled with getting t-cells over 200. And when you hear about others t-cells jump you kinda wonder why not you, right? me too. Just try to focus on how you feel more than the numbers. And remember slow and steady wins the race......

You don't mention how your viral load is doing. If it isn't undectectable that may be part of the reason you aren't increasing your CD4 count....and if it isn't undectectable and it's been that way for a few times, then it really is time to look at if there is resistance. You doctor can do a Pheno/Genotype for that.
