I am currently writing my MA dissertation that is a comparative study (US and UK) on heterosexual women and their vulnerability to and prevention from and HIV/AIDS infections. I am looking at influential factors such as soci-economics, social-cultural contexts, as well as health inequalities and access to care in conferring female vulerability to this disease. I also would like to examine the appropriate policy and program response necessary to address the changing demographics. I would like to pick the brains of HIV/AIDS service providers, legislators as well as PWA (specifically young women of colour).
