Looking for long-term nonprogressors to be interviewed for a story in POZ magazine. You must have had HIV for 10 years or more, never dipped below 500 CD4 cells, and taken no antiretroviral therapy. We are specifically looking for nonprogressors who have adopted a program of stress management (for example, yoga, meditation, etc.) or some psychosocial intervention. My spouse has been a long term survivor for 20 yrs. 15 being the official documented. He's never been on any meds for this illness. and the only time his t-cells dropped to 600 was when on tx for hep c. Why ? No one knows but we're thankful.
