Change from Zerit to Atripla ??? - TheBody.com's Bulletin Boards

I am poz now for 10 years with ~550 CD4 and VL undedect. (43y, 230 lbs/ 6.3/ 32w/ man/ cholesterol 230 /sportiv/ top/ healthy looking / with BF since 8y) I am on Zerit/ Viread & Sustiva since about 6 years ( was before on another regimen) I am healthy happy almost no side effects in my life (only my butt looses a little muscle mass the last 1/2 y to 1 y but no lipo.effects effects in face etc.) Live a very normal balanced life .
Out on my gay live but not on my hiv life so i dont know where to go..just my Dr...i avoided the last 10 years all these hiv groups etc...i just dont confronted myself with hiv just took my pills and went on with my life and till now 10 years! it worked very well for me..i live in a very openly big gay area on the east coast.

Now my doctor wants me to switch to Atripla bcse of the old Zerit with its Lipo side effects...and the age of the drug itsself. I am thinking about this since over 1 y already and tend to switch but not sure what todo bcse i am feeling great , i am healthy no problems at all, looking like a normal "not hiv" guy and i am afraid this switch can change my healthy life to a unhealthy looking life like i seen in many people..
my numbers looks great im a little overweight about 20 pounds too much but im 6.3 tall so not a so big deal...
