hello
Just went to a new DR said to go with this combo and i am wondering did it help anyone. i used to take Combivir and Crixivan and he said those are old meds no one takes them anymore there is so much better out there now...is he correct are these going to work for me? i havent been taking my meds and going to do my best to get back on track... any insite would be appreciated thank you

Hi Light,
I am on that combo. No problems for me at all. But when you start taking meds you really need to not skip or stop. You will find no combos will help you if you continue to stop and start your meds. What happened with Combivir and Crixivan that made you stop taking them?

i have been on this combo for two years and have no side effects and am undetectable. I am very fortunate.

HI There,
I started this combo a few months ago. Initially I had some nausea early in the morning, just a few times in the first couple weeks and once I had to vomit, which felt very much like morning sickness, but it went away just as quickly as it came on. Now I've had no side effects, I have noticed, I've been feeling better. My count was around 160 when I started the meds and I was just tested for my counts again, so waiting for the results. From what I've read in here and from what my doctor has said has been all good things about this combo. We will see where my count will be next week and hopefully will be a bit better. Just don't miss any doses, I know for me it's getting into the habit. I was worried because I will sometimes not remember to take them until around 10pm or so. But I usually take them between 730pm and 9pm. My doctor said that really doesn't matter just as long as you take em everyday.

I've been on Truvada, Norvir & Reyataz for over four years....and its still working so far. Aside from dizziness at first I haven't had any side effects. Hope that helps...
