Cost of Atripla

Hi everyone,
My partner was recently diagnosed. We are trying to figure out ways to pay for Atripla. We are both students and he gets his health insurance through his university, which unfortunately pays only $1500 maximum per policy year for outpatient drugs. I have come to understand that Atripla costs close to $1500 per MONTH. Both our salaries are under $25,000. Anyone have any ideas? PS We live in Atlanta, Georgia.

there are assistance programs to reduce the cost...contact a local hiv/aids center....

I used to live in Atlanta and moved several years ago. I have the same problem with the cost of Atripla. I talked with my infectious disease Dr at Univ of Fl and investigated. Found that I could order the exactl same drug via Canadian Meds for $ 564 for a 90 day supply. My email ia alloftis@aol.com, please email me and we can talk more.
