I have taken Trizivir ever since it came out. The standard dosing is 1 tab bid. My doc has told me on several occasions that i can take both pills at once if it was more convienent for me, because i take viread also, which is once a day, which would be taking 3 pills once a day. Has anyone else that takes trizivir heard of this. I'm curious, and always interested in cutting down on the number of times a day i have to take something...Thanks Ray

why are you taking trizivir and viread. Seems like a crazy combination! What's your cd4 count and viral load?

well, i just re-started the same meds on valentines day and i will get the results this week, but without any HIV meds at all for 2.5 years my CD4 was 766 and my VL was 56000. This combination works very well for me, I just had a genotype done and it said that my hiv was still suseptable to all of the medications currently availble including the ones that i am currently on. so....thats just me...I have heard many positive things about trizivir, although i don't know anyone taking it along with viread
