I'm looking to hear from someone who has tried this hyroxyurea. My doctor wants me to try it in combination with other drugs. ANyone out there with exprience?

I am not sure what this is, a new medications, I assume this is something one can get?? I would like to know what it is, what is does, let me know.. Thank you a lot.. :) There is hope for us with this illness, try to have a positive mind, outlook....

I believe it is not a key solution, but it boosts ddi activity. Some propose it as a single treatment (ddi+HU) as it is a cheap combination with some effect, I am currently taking it as a sort of treatment interruption as I am a bit scared of giving everything up. So far I´ve lasted 8 months, don´t know about next blood tests though, or if I have lasted because of it or not.

I was just reading these posts on this drug I am taking it to help bring down my paletts, has anyone had any side effects to using this drug. I am experiencing painful joint pain and a rash on my upper arms. Thanks
