i would like to know of a website that has a holistic discussion list.
i want real stories from real people that have aids or hiv and have been successful not using drugs or used and went off them. i recently
started using combo when my t4 count went to 25, but i was at 100 for a couple of years and that was fine with me. i dont plan on staying on
drugs for the rest of my life.

If you're t-cells are going down then maybe you should see an HIV specialist. Holistic you can do without getting off the other medications. Remember that there are big protests because Africa and much of Asia cannot get these life-saving meds! And without these meds they will all die. So taking these meds are important. Taking complementary medications are also important--like NAC and a good vitamin and plenty of fresh vegetables and juices. But most of the people who have no access to these meds inevitably die.
Get educated!! Call women alive--a group for HIV positive women who are actively looking for treatments that work 800-554-4876. They are in los angeles and have this great women's hiv+ hotline.
Having HIV is a serious condition! And it may require a committment to medication. Diabetics have to take medicine all their life as well. Let's be realistic!

This is a HEAL site. They have the blood on their hands of all the misguided people who follow their homophobic, conspirational theories. They call themselves unbiased...but they are absolutely biased and are against all meds--and even deny that HIV is sexually transmitted!!

Crazy group. Pretending to help but destroying life. They are like the people declaring the world is flat when all evidence pointed to it being round.
They are poison. Speak to any authentic AIDS organization and get valid information. Their conspiracy theories may sound believable--the drug companies just want you to buy their drugs...which may be true--but these drugs have caused death rates to plummet more than 40% in America and Canada and Europe, While in Africa and Asia thousands of people are dying daily. So don't listen to their nonsense without first talking to many AIDS organizations who have been helping people since the beginning of the epidemic.
Of course, everyone would like to just drink fresh juices and excercise and keep away from powerful medicines. But HIV is a tricky, deadly disease so you really need the big guns. No fantasy here, it's a war going on in your body. If you don't take it really seriously--you will lose the war.

Pay special attention to the May article about vinegar. I have had great results so far, and it's non-toxic and cheap, cheap cheap!! I'd be a little more skeptical of the things that cost a lot of money. The guy who writes this publication is a great guy, and although some of the supplements he mentions he does sell in his store (and available through mail order) he does support some of the cheaper therapies as well, especially the apple cider vinegar. At any rate, good luck.
