Are any of you on Emtriva, Reyataz or Videx Ec?? If so how are you doing on them and have you had any side effects?

On Emtriva here (I'm actually on Truvada, and Emtriva is one of the two components of Truvada). It's pretty side-effect free.

I'm on all now except the Videx which I had removed from my regimen. The Videx gave me severe pancreatitis that put me in the hospital on a morphine drip for a week and left me with permanent liver damage. The Reyetaz is giving me facial lipo-something-ophy, but so far, I like the new look on me. Emtriva comes with Viread as a single pill, not sure why, but no problems other than restlessness at night which is cured with Xanax.

I am taking Emtriva, Lexiva, & Zerit. Doing well. The only side effect so far is I have some arthritic type pain in my hands. But it is mild. ---Brian

And your doctor is monitoring that right? Arthritic pain can be the beginning of neuropathy which is a painful inflammation of the myelin surrounding your nerves. Joint pain can also be caused by some of the effects of the meds on your liver. Is your doctor monitoring your liver function. Have you had a liver panel recently?
