Hello:
I am yet to test for hiv, but i am planning ahead (as i am testing today) just in case the worst happens.
I am about to get a new job and would like to protect my HIV status on employment health forms under "pre-existing conditions." How do i go about doing it?
Is private health insurance the way to go? Any idea about how much premium it costs per month on a rough estimate?
I currently do not have any coverage.
Quick responses would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks!

If you have not tested positive there is no problem, if you have there still is no problem because you have never been treated for HIV in a pre existing situation.

If you test, do it annoymously, then there is no record that you know you're positive and have a pre-exisiting condition.

As far as I know you can not be tested for the HIV virus unless you give or sign a paper telling them they can test you.
