Precum and HIV

I got HIV at the end of August. I had unprotected sex with someone who told me he was "safe". The interesting thing is that he never came in me. There was only precum. In fact, he never came at all. The sad thing is, two weeks later I had sex with someone I was interested in dating and told him I was negative, which I was at the time. The day after having unprotected sex with him (again with only precum! but we both came on - not in - each other) I started getting sick. My antibody test for HIV was negative, but my doc wanted to do a PCR and it was positive (700,000). One week later, the PCR on the guy I was dating was positive (150,000 and later up to 15 million).
I'm not posting this to scare people. It's just true. I can't believe it myself and neither can my friend. Who would have thought that precum was so infectious? Has anyone else had this experience?

I've heard that precum was pretty densely filled with HIV. It depends on the viral load of the person that infected you. Read this answer on the site. http://www.thebody.com/Forums/AIDS/SafeSex/Archive/TransmissionSexual/Q73252.html

It is almost impossible to have a viral loadof 15 million. I urge you to take an ANTIBODY test, more than enough time has passed. HIV generally is just not spread that easy.

Actually, in acute infection syndrome you can have viral counts higher than 15 million. I'm participating in a study on acute infection at the University and they told me that they've seen people higher than that. And yes, I know that HIV is not usually spread this way, but it happened. My friend and I must just be very unlucky.

Dear Anon,
Hey there sorry to hear you are positive but hope you are getting the excellent care you need. Ejaculate early or late is ejaculate. Meaning semen filled with the virus and usually detectable is highly suspect a big red flag if you will. I am a professional nurse my husband is positive; I married him knowing he is/was. It can occur this way unfortunately not everyone considers it.
Gods blessings, Karen

Last I heard the PCR doesn't show over 750,000 unless it's a special one done in clinical trials when they need to have better figures. 15 million?

I am so worried about an incident I had with precum. In your case did the precum go directly from the penis into your body and did you have any cuts or blood anywhere? I am concerned that a guy had precum on his fingers and rubbed it in the opening of my penis.
Please respond!

Dear Scott,
I hope you are handling this are you ok? My husband is HIV+ if you need to talk just email me at LoveIsNotAWord@aol.com what most folks don't realize is that "ejaculate is all the same a body fluid" and just like many women who became pregnant when a man pulled out HIV does it's thing if not protected. You are in my prayers.
Karen :)

Are the risks of contracting the virus equally high when you give as they are when u receive. I am worried now after having unprotected sex and precumming inside a guy (whose status I don't know), are the risks as high as if I was receiving.

THATS WHAT I THOUGHT, I THINK I SMELL BOGUS POSTS IN HERE AND MAKING UP STORIES. AS FAR AS I KNOW BASED FROM SOME PEOPLE I ASKED AND SOURCES FROM DIFFERENT WEBSITES, HIV IS VERY DIFFICULT TO TRANSMIT ESPECIALLY FROM THE PRECUM.

Is there some reason you feel the need to respond to an 8 year old post?
Nothing better going on in your life?
