First night I slept all night

I have been reading a lot on here on how to sleep when you are on meds, but I am not on them and I have had my mind never go to sleep since I found out about this. I know it is my nerves, but working out and making myself very tired helped thanks for all of the suggestions.

I asked my doctor for a little something to help me sleep, sometimes I have the anxiety and can not sleep. It has nothing to do with HIV or the meds, simply life stresses.. D

Thanks I guess I thought it might help the HIV progress faster if you take too many things. I will do that.

Ambien is now generic and pretty dang cheap... I have some of those nights and one of these just puts me to sleep and feel perfect the next day... I would strongly urge you get a script for some... :)

Thanks I will call her on monday and ask for a prescription. I hope that it will help I feel tired all of the time.

I totally agree with Eric. I've always had a difficult time sleeping in my life... but since my diagnosis... course your mind goes ALL over the place. Ambien works GREAT.... (although I will have to say... depending on ur insurance... for the cost). with my Blue cross... they only cover 15 pills a mo. but you only need 1/2 sometimes. and the best thing about them... is they work w/in like 1/2 hour.... and of ALL the sleep aids that i have tried...... I wake up with NO grogieness at ALL in the morning... its just as if I've gotten a good night sleep.......
I tell everyone... "I love my ambien"... (:

the same thing happien to me! i could not sleep and i even lost alot of hair from stress. now that was hard to take in lossing my hair. i talk to my doctor and he told me exerices and i was exerices im to weak to do that. will i went back to the gym and thngs change and i started sleeping more and now im almost back to were i was.
im just saying for me. i just had to let things go and make the bast of what i have. yes i have hiv but im still alive and i want to live and im going to fight this until the end of me. i stay happy, i eat right, i go to the gym.
