Hello friends,
I just thought I would update you on my HIV journey. This past week I have gotten my blood drawn by own physician. He is going to perform a cd4 count and check my viral load to see if medication is needed at this point and time. He will let me know those results next week. I have been feeling fatigued lately partly due to the stress of it all. Other than that I have been taking it day by day. My appointment to see my HIV Specialist is still scheduled for next month, so I am awaiting that as well. As always I will keep you abreast as I go through this. Thanks again for your input. Talk to you all soon.

G... Good for you.. As far as stressin out. Many newly diagnosed hiv'ers go on anti-depreseents and anxiety meds for awhile to help make the adjustment. You might talk to your GP about that. Stress directly impacts your immune system. There are drugs that will allow you to perform your work and stop the "Roominating" that goes along with the shock of a HIV diagnosis. Just a thought. But I would mention to your GP what you are feeling and if this might help you. It helped me out immensely. Go to my first post 2000 or so ago and see where I was at emotionally. Way worse than most..
Best to you... Keep posting!
