I'm have lots of symtoms but I'm still waiting to take my test again to know for sure. I keep having a achy feeling in my belly. It's weird I don't have a diahrea but I do have a ton of gas. Is this another possible symptom of being infected? I've got a pretty good history with yeast problems so I'm not sure if its that. Thoughts?

The achy feeling could just be nerves. Or if you have yeast problems in the past...it could be that. Yeast doesn't always appear in the mouth and private regions. One time a professional told me, after problems with bloating and constipation...Excessive yeast can cause this. Think about it...yeast in bread makes it rise. Your body tempature and the yeast could be causing uncomfortablness because of gas expansion. You might try what I did...go to the health food store, get "PB8" Acidopholis (does not need refrigeration). I only took one a day and it kept the yeast at bay. Good Luck!

Broken Angel1, How long did you have to take the acidophilus before it helped? I do have a long history with yeast problems. I tried taking it in the past but ended up giving up b/c i didn;/.t think it was helping....maybe i didn;t take it long enough?

I think it started slightly helping almost immediately. Its slow, cause its got alot of years to catch up. hee hee hee. But if you take it as prescribed, within a week you should, max 2 weeks, start to notice a difference. My doctor has always told me it takes about two weeks for any drug to truly be 100% effective. Hey, give it shot! It is worth it. Just remember the name, because a majority of Acidolphis needs refrigeration...and that is a pain! Good luck!
