acute syndrome

i think i'm having acute syndrome. i had sex with my girlfriend who is poz, the condom slipped off. 3 weeks late i got sick. i have been sick for 3 weeks now. i was diagnosed with bronchitis 1 week ago. i cannot get over this flu. i have had no night sweats or rash. just flu, and a cough. if anybodt had acut syndrome would you please share your story. i'm just a little worried.

Worry can be delt with by being tested. You have had a possible exposure. Insertion has a less of a risk, but risk there is. As far as you symptoms go, it could mean anything right now. Flu. You will read on this forum, your best answer is to go get tested. I hate to be that blunt. But its just the way it is...

i got my exposure in june 2005. In july 2005 i got fever for about 1 week. i was really cold....and that coldness comes from one spot in my body...i.e. the center of my chest. The doc told me that i may have bronchritis....but another told me is llung infection. I saw a chinese sinseh...he told me that i was sick because the fever suppose to come down and shot up again...thus was internally sick. so i took his herbs.felt better but it started again. went to another doctor....told me that i had lung infection.he say it is normal.....and suddenly i was cured.maybe my head was playing with me. Anyways....i got tested in January 2006 and passed. i am still afraid that i do have HIV infection......so i just gotta contnue to get tested.
