And if you don't take them you will die gasping for breath, in horrible pain, soaked in your own feces and urine. AIDS meds, for those who whose infection is sufficiently advanced that they absolutely must take them to live, are the promise of one more day.
The notion that HIV doesn't cause AIDS is a thorougly debunked idea that reminds me of Jerry Falwell in the Eighties telling the American people that AIDS was God's vengeance upon the wicked homosexuals.
