HI,I am a 14 year old with herpes.
I beleive I was infected when I was 13 .I aslo was pregnant when I found out that I had the virus.I was very scared and angry.I even begged god to take it away,promising that I would never have sex again ,if he took it away .To this day I still feel numb
to all that has happened to me.I know that I have herpes ,but sometimes I beleive and feel as if I dont .Like the situation is not real to me.Daily ,this is becoming a reality to me.I was so angry I even refused to take my medication .Well ,I hope my little story helps someone .Thank you for taking the time to read this.

well im almost 17, i was diagnoised with herpes when i was 14. you only need to take meds if you are having in outbreak, or u want to be on supressive therapy. u dont have to worry about taking meds though. you will still have it forever, it will not go away. i hate saying that, i wish that wasn't true. i hate having to tell my partners about it..life is terrible to us sometimes.... sometimes i get so suicidal thinking about it. anyone else with herpes? if so.. reply back to this site ..i could realy use someone to talk to and i'll im you or email you, if u want : )

You should look on a herpes related site to get information. It is not the end of the world. Life goes on. try www.racoon.com. It is a great site with discussion boards for herpes
