Hey there. To answer your question, No, you can not get HIV from masturbating. All you can get is a sore penis, which sometimes isn't all bad.
There are four fluids that can carry and transmit HIV: blood, semen, vaginal fluids, and breast milk. Saliva doesn't transmit it. Also you have to more then just get infected fluid on your skin. For example if you were to masturbate someone who was HIV positive and you got their semen on your hand that's not enough for you to become infected.

But you can get infected if you have a cut on your hand and you get someone else's semen/vaginal fluid/blood/breast milk on the cut on your hand. I always get tested with my new partner partner before we have sexual contact (anything below the belt). It's your whole life on the line, so don't be shy. Don't take a chance--I've seen too many friends die from being too shy to go get tested with their partners. You never know if they're telling you the truth. You can't be too careful.
