for you youths out there living with HIV. is it something you tell others? i'd imagine growing up in a social media age, you're more open. but i wonder how you feel about it. thoughts?

Hey. This is somthing I struggle with all the time. I consider myself a spoken word poet and hip hop artist who writes strories about things that I see in the world even personal stuff.. I also write about childhood and life... and I was born with HIV and have written stuff in the past about that aspect of my identity but, have of yet announed on on a social media format I guess I'm still scared but there are young people who are either born with it or contracted HIV through sex and they tell their stories on the web I've came across many blogs and videos about their perspective and lets say, they inspire me to be very honest about my life in my art. ARe you an artist as well? if so what kind of art do you do?

i write crappy poems from time to time. wouldn't call myself an artist though. haha.
have you submitted to our poetry month yet? you can use your alias, of course. i think it would be great to share the work you have about living with HIV.
