Talking with my daughter

I was wondering if any of you teens would be interested in talking with my daughter. She's 13. My husband and I are both HIV and while we're open with her. I'm sure she may have questions or concerns that she doesn't want to bring up to us. If anyone is interested, I'll set up a private mailbox for her on this board so she can talk without mom and dad over her shoulder.

Hi. Although I am not an expert on HIV, I would be glad to help you out. I am 16, and my name is Lyndsey. I do know a lot about HIV/AIDS. I have done many research projects on the subject, and even have gone to classes to learn more about it. I watched one of my friends die from AIDS, he had received it from his mom. So, I can answer many questions about AIDS, or just talk to your daughter in general about teen stuff. (I've been through a lot more then most teens have...) set her up in a yahoo or hot mail mailbox and post another message about her here--or have her post the message. I know a few kids whose mother's are positive. And I can tell them to come here.

Hi!
If you still want and need someone to talk to your daughter, you can 'count' on me. I am 20 years of age, I am not HIV+ nor I have AIDS, I'm straight but have a gay friend who is HIV+ and so, I know quite a lot about it and, I know how much it helps when someone listens to you or simply talks to you about it, even through other things.

hello my daughter is 17 and looking for someone to talk to too, if your daughter is interseted then i will have mine put her email up on here for her to go to. it is hard on us as it is why dont they have a place for the kids.shannon is trying to put a chat room toghter for teens so if she wants she can come ther too
