Any one use a HIV dating site successfully?

Eventually some of us grow up and figure things out. That's where I'm at.
I am some one that is intelligent, secure, and very resilient. I see life as being filled with many wonderful blessing and as a real chance to experience bliss as much as possible. This has been a major learning opportunity about health: not just keeping it, but also learning to cherish and appreciate it.
So i'm ready to get know some one that feels they have a similar out look on life. Dating site might be my best option i think? Hoping to find some one close to the Larchmont Village/Hancock Park, Los Angeles CA area. If you have input or suggestions locally i'd love to hear them. Thanks everyone!

May I comment on what was stated previously , about the thought of being a spouse to a neg person being too complicated. Honey , any relationship has it's complications. Thats what the bond builds on . And if both parties are intelligent about the situation , then it's no more complicated than any other. Don't shut yourself off from a relationship cause its " too complicated " I see couples, both neg, lives become " complicated" due to one becoming sick and needing major surgery, or chemo for cancer , or ending up in a wheelchair due to a stroke. If you " run " at the first sign of "complications , well then that says alot about your character, and we got enough of those in this crazy world.

Why don't you just start with communicating with women looking for the same thing regardless of where they live. What ever happened to one step at a time. I have a friend that met his wife in minnasota , and he was from jersey. Why let state lines hinder you. Step out of the box . After all there are things called busses, trains an planes you know And it starts with an e-mail to a phone call . . Jeeeze come on, how much you want to meet some one. That person isn't necessarily in your back yard.

I agree with you Riverprincess, sometimes you just have to let go and cast your net wide. I have been on a couple of these dating sites and have not had much luck perhaps because I was searching in a certain area. Now I have opened up to anywhere in the world. You never know where you will find that special person!
Go with the flow is my motto and live life for now!

Pozpersonals.com is a good one, and free. Ironic, i lived off of Melrose, near Hancock Park, for several years, though have just moved to Studio City with my girlfriend whom i met on that aforementioned site.

Dating sites are horrible. Meeting a person by chance is better. I want to hear, smell, and meet a person in person. I want to know if they have command of the language; I want to see how they handle themselves in public; and I what to see how they handle difference situations. Some people tend to conceal their true feeling on the internet. They only surprises I like are gifts.

What puzzles me is that no one seems to know where to start in meeting folks. So that is why I posted for folks to leave their resume's in the womens section . But still men can't find women and women can't find men. They all must be hanging out on different planets. I just don't understand. I do know of couples that met on web site and are now happily married, so it can work . But anything good does take work.

I couldnt have said it better, southernpride. I live in Raleigh, the capital city of NC, and have found it impossible to find the right partner here. I guess being 57, but a young 57, narrows the field. Everyone my age is already with someone. Being the perpetual optimist, I keep waiting.
