My husband is hive+ and i'm hive- he was tested+ two years agonies is also hepatitis babbage what makes me very worried about his stub he is drinking alcohol almost every day and his doctor told him that alcohol will make him more sick, now he is having some mouth alcestis and the treatment he is getting from the doctor is not helping his mouth problems very worried and scared i'm not ready to see him very sick he is also loosing wait and his skin is always dry, is these are the signs that he is now on the last stages of aids? I need any one who can explain what is ream going on, two month ago i found out his cd4 count are 269 and his doctor said he is going to start his aids treatment in Decembers, one with an advice please. Thank you in advance.

Once he starts his treatment he should be better. But he needs to take all his medicince. If he's always drinking how is he going to do that? Can you take him to Alcoholics annonymous? Can you get him into therapy? Cause he won't do good on treatment if he's always drinking!

Hi, I am not a doctor, but am going through same with my husband. AA is a good place to start if you can get him there. Why are they waiting until December for meds? Do you have an HIV specialist in your area? Have you called an AIDS hotline in your area? They will help you. Hang in there. This is very hard for me too and I guess we just have to take one day at a time. Some help that is when we're so scared, huh?
