We adopted a child from overseas. She tested +. Our Dr said not to worry we just need more testing. Should I be optimisic or be planning for treatment? Is it possible she is still carrying antibody? She is 3. HELP!!

A baby will test positive because of the mother's antibodies for the first few months. However by 3 years, if the child tested positive, then the test was picking up antibodies that the child produced. Make an appointment with an infectious disease doctor.
