Hello ...again...and thank you all for your kind advice. My husband got out of hospital and was doing so well, loads of energy. Put on the weight he had lost, counts went up to 185 and he was undetectable. The doctor took him off some of his antibiotics on the 16th July, one week later he was back in hospital, this time with an important lung abscess. He went into intensive care on Tuesday 29th (lost loads of weight again; needed 10 litres of oxygen ); I was told he now has pulmonary Lymphoma. He started chemo yesterday....It all seems to happen so suddenly, from playing tennis to being in intensive care. Is it possible for him to get through this? His breathing is better so the antibiotics are working, he isn't 'down' like the last time with the initial shock. Is it too late for chemo to work or too dangerous for him to have chemo? Any words of advice? Thanks again... Jayne
