Hi, We are planning to have protected sex, but what are the realistic risks for the neg partner with open mouth(french kissing). Someone please help. Thanks!

the saliva would need an entry point such as cuts or sores in the mouth of the negative person, and there would have to be blood present in the saliva of the poz person... i wont say there is no risk as there is never no risk, but the risk is low... unless of course there is blood and open sores. hope this helps.... i kiss my poz b/f all the time :)

There has been NO documented cases of transmision of HIV through french kissing! NONE! And that's in 1 million US cases and total of 34 million world cases! Love each other and just be careful about intercourse! Even Oral sex is low risk!
