I was diagnosed with lypodystrophy my dr referred me to an epidemiologist for help 2 years ago,My insrence company will cover it.but I had to go through a third party that will help pay for the copay. I was in a study with serostim but the adverse reactions were too extreme. It has been FDA approved but the process for getting it will take some time to be set up

For me the serostin didn't work mainly due to the fact that I do not really eat much all day and hardly ever finish dinner. I too had it for the lipodystrophy. I should of had couseling by a dietician but didn't . So I was taken off by the company.
