How does the Navy test HIV samples?

What methods are used, ELISA, PCR, Western Blot, does anyone know for sure????

The military uses a standard antibody test. I know for the army they use Genetic systems hiv1/2 combo kit.

before u r accepted in the navy do u have to do an hiv test.
when u r accepted into the navy will they tell u on the phone if
you are hiv positive or do they tell u when u arrive at the base.
