I was infected with HIV about 6 months ago.
Tested Oz.
I think I am experiencing Thrush, is it possible for it to occur so soon after infection?
Also are there any home remedies??

Thrush is something that occurs in anyone, you do not have to be HIV+ to have it. Go to your doctor, he will give you antibiotics and it will clear right up.

Thrush can happen to anyone..My great niece whosan infant has it and shes not hiv..If you go to your doctors they can give u a pillc alled diflucan 200 mgs...and in a few daysit will disappear..In the mean time, just use yourtoothbrush to scrape off the thursh with sometoothpaste...I myself get it from time to time.Especially when put on antibotics...so do peoplewithout hiv who are put on meds, get it as well.so dont sweat the small stuf..good Luck Mama

I had thrush approx a year after contracting HIV. It occurs even in HIV negative people (my mom had has it, she is neg, read somewhere common with babies, sometimes people on antibiotics for long period ), so may not even be connected to the HIV. I have never had it again luckily, that was 13 years ago!
